Job Description
As a Web Accessibility Engineer on the team, this role requires a foundational understanding of technical accessibility standards to support remediation efforts using established testing methodologies. You will perform accessibility evaluations of web applications, document findings clearly, and contribute actionable recommendations under the guidance of senior team members. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, and engineering throughout the project lifecycle, supporting accessibility reviews and helping ensure inclusive experiences are built into the product from the ground up. You will also contribute to the team's accessibility training materials, tooling, and standards as you grow in the role.
Requirements & Experience
0-2 years of experience in web accessibility and front-end engineering
Foundational knowledge and experience with web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Familiarity with WCAG 2.x guidelines and WAI-ARIA specifications
Experience with testing with assistive technologies such as VoiceOver, JAWS, or NVDA
Ability to identify and contribute accessible code fixes using web technologies
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in an engineering-related field, or equivalent practical experience
