Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and skilled Junior Java Backend Developer focused on Java, Spring Boot, APIs, databases, testing, and application support in a collaborative development environment.
Key Responsibilities
1.Demonstrate a willingness to learn and contribute to software application design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
2.Develop and maintain software components using Java and Spring Boot under the guidance of senior developers.
3.Understand business requirements, project scope, functional specifications, and technical requirements before beginning assigned development tasks.
4.Write clean, readable, reusable, and maintainable code by following established coding standards and secure development practices.
5.Apply appropriate Data Structures and basic algorithms to solve programming problems efficiently.
6.Design, develop, and support REST APIs and backend application services using Spring Boot.
7.Write and execute SQL queries for data retrieval, validation, processing, and troubleshooting.
8.Diagnose and resolve basic application, API, database, and technical issues, with support from senior team members when required.
9.Participate in code reviews and implement feedback provided by senior developers and technical leads.
10.Perform unit testing of developed components and ensure that deliverables meet defined functional and quality requirements.
11.Collaborate with QA teams during integration testing, regression testing, defect validation, and release verification.
12.Support the resolution of production incidents and user-reported application issues, including preliminary analysis and defect fixing.
13.Assist with application enhancements, bug fixes, maintenance releases, and deployment activities.
14.Work collaboratively with developers, QA engineers, database teams, business analysts, and application-support teams.
15.Use Git or other version-control tools to manage source code and track development changes.
16.Good to have: Possess basic knowledge of DevSecOps practices or demonstrate a strong willingness and ability to learn them.
