Job Description
Define, develop, and maintain ENOVIA web applications' features and components, with a focus on performance, accessibility, reusability and cross-browser correctness.
• As part of an AI-enabled SDLC, leverage AI coding assistants for development, code reviews, and test case generation, while ensuring the quality and safety of AI-generated output.
• Build consistent, reusable JavaScript components using standard vanilla JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3
• Collaborate with Product Managers to translate product requirements into implementations.
• Resolve technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation — creating new and innovative ways to improve platform applications
• Debug complex issues across a distributed team environment; work closely with customer-facing teams on production issues.
• Mentor junior engineers; share knowledge on both JavaScript best practices and effective AI tool workflows.
Requirements & Experience
PLM / Domain Skills
• Development exposure to ENOVIA or equivalent PLM platforms
• Awareness of PLM domain concepts: BOM, Engineering Change Management, Product Configuration, Document Management
• Industry exposure: automotive, aerospace, manufacturing, life sciences, infrastructure (nice to have)
AI Skills
• Demonstrated use of AI coding assistants (Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT) in real workflow
• Critical review of AI-generated code: logic errors, security risks, XSS vulnerabilities, incorrect async patterns, edge cases, style
• Effective prompt writing and iterative refinement of AI output
• AI for non-code tasks: requirement drafting, test case generation, documentation
Software Engineering Skills
• CS fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, OOD, design patterns — applied to applications in production
• Strong system thinking skills to design and build responsive, scalable, and maintainable JavaScript applications
• Understanding of browser security fundamentals
• Strong debugging and root-cause analysis across distributed codebases
• Understanding of Cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines
• DevOps practices and basic SQL
JavaScript Skills
• Strong JavaScript proficiency — ES6 and later: Promises, async/await, modules, classes, destructuring, event handling, DOM manipulation and AMD (require.js).
• Knowledge of Java, JUnit, or server-side integration patterns for collaborating effectively with backend teams
• Good knowledge of Client-Server architectures and RESTful API design

Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering from a reputed institution.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in JavaScript and Web technologies in an enterprise software company or product organisation.
