Job Description
Design and implement software solutions for an approved and assigned project which may target a new product or alternatively a major re-release of an existing product following the software development lifecycle.
Derive low level design from the underlying architecture based on the requirements & implement the same with highest quality & reliability.
Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
Make informed decisions quickly and taking ownership of software applications.
Maintain existing software by performing necessary bug-fixes, etc.
Supports products indirectly by working with other departments such as Product Support, Product Management, Manufacturing, etc.
Improve skills through self-study and/or short course attendance.
Complete adherence to the quality process & compliance to regulatory standards as applicable.
Works within the AMT Engineering Product Development Process.
Passionate about software development.

Works effectively in a cross-discipline engineering team.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, computer information systems, computer engineering or a related discipline.
