Job Description
We are seeking a talented Associate Software Backend Engineer with expertise in Java (Spring Boot, Hibernate) who is adaptable and eager to learn new programming languages as required by business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Taking ownership of the full on-premises product lifecycle: investigating, implementing, building, and delivering to customers.
Support and maintain the project stability and security, update dependencies, implement new standards and protocols.
Increase the reliability of our software continuously.
Support on-premises customers in their path to migrating to the modern cloud-based Celonis Platform.
Improving & automating our development processes.
Set an example for and mentor, and grow your teammates.
Helping define a fun and inclusive engineering culture.
Requirements & Experience
1-3 years of hands-on software engineering experience.
Hands-on experience in Java, Spring, Hibernate frameworks.
Ability to navigate typical enterprise challenges such as security, compliance, scalability, and data consistency.
Exhibit excellent programming skills and a strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Experience working on microservices-based distributed systems.
Have an analytical mind and a good understanding of complex data structures and algorithms in data management.
Have a curiosity about how things work and a desire to improve them.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
