You are someone who gets energized by the moment when a piece of software you built actually clicks for the person using it. Not when it compiles without errors, but when an engineer on the other side of the world opens your application and their workflow just got easier. You have learned that the hardest part of building useful tools is not the technical implementation, it is understanding what people are actually trying to accomplish.
You think in systems, but you communicate in plain language. When a customer describes a problem, you can hold the technical architecture in your head while also tracking what they really need versus what they think they need. You ask clarifying questions that get to the root without making people feel interrogated.
Requirements & Experience
You have working knowledge of frontend development concepts and UI/UX principles, with the ability to translate user needs into functional interfaces that people actually want to use
You are comfortable using Git for version control in a collaborative team environment where multiple people are working in the same codebase
You have a solid understanding of core backend and infrastructure concepts, including RESTful API design, network fundamentals, and database systems, enabling you to effectively contribute to robust, full-stack application development.
You communicate clearly in written and spoken English and can explain technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders without losing the important details
Experience with the Ansys software ecosystem ,PyAnsys, or similar scientific and engineering application domains is a plus, as is familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines
Qualifications
You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field with 2+ years of professional software development experience, or a Master's degree with relevant project or internship experience
You bring strong proficiency in Python for backend development, including hands-on experience with Python-based web or UI frameworks
